CNN ā Salem Media Group, the right-wing talk radio network owner, issued a public apology and said it would stop distributing a discredited 2020 election conspiracy theory film after a Georgia man wrongly accused of voter fraud sued the company for defamation.
The Georgia man, Mark Andrews, said in his 2022 lawsuit that ā2000 Mules,ā a film and book by far-right activist Dinesh DāSouza contained a string of bogus claims about the 2020 election, leading to threats of violence against him and his family.
Andrews said the film, which has been repeatedly promoted by Donald Trump and widely circulated in right-wing media as supposed proof that the 2020 election was stolen, had severely damaged his reputation.
āIt was never our intent that the publication of the 2000 Mules film and book would harm Mr. Andrews,ā Salem said in a Friday statement.
BS. It was exactly your intent to harm him and put the fear of the mob into anyone who stood up for the truth.
āNo we did not intend to harm him! We just wanted money and did not care that viewers would obviously target him based on lies!ā
People should know about Roy Cohn. He was Trumpās legal mentor until he was diagnosed with AIDS; then Trump disowned him.
Cohn made himself rich and powerful by going after Communists during the 1940s and 1950s. He was Joe McCarthyās henchman and sent Ethel Rosenberg to the gas chamber.
His legal strategy was always attack, attack, attack. Heās the one who taught Trump that you could get things cheaper by refusing to pay and then going to court. Most small businesses donāt have the resources to go against a rich guy.
They have put the idea out there, and now they can claim that they canāt show the movie because of āgovernment censorship.ā
Classic Cohn move.
They should be forced to pay for, produce, and distribute ā65 million foolsā movie
The President Drink Bleach bankruptcy continues. This is sweet news! Letās keep it coming.
Salem Media is a fully evil enterprise hell bent on destroying these United States.
It is way past time to say āfuck your goddamn free speech!ā and start arresting and imprisoning agent provocateurs who deliberately spread blatant lies to push political agendas. These people are enemies of the state, stochastic terrorists, anti-American activists, and are the very thing that the US President is sworn to defend the country from.
And any of you who say ābut we have to defend free speech even for the Nazisā are equally culpable and should join them in prison AFAIC so dont even bother trying to hand me that fucking bullshit. Itās equivalent to saying trump shouldnt be prosecuted because you might be alao if you commit crimes.
I think you should be jailed for suggesting such a thing.
Since youāre obviously not defending fascist propagandists out of an abstract concern for free speech, I can only conclude that youāre doing it because you support their cause.
Since you support jailing people just for making the free speech argument, I assume youāre a fascist. So you should be in jail along with your supporters. Itās logic.
Note that I myself didnāt make a free speech argument. The opposite. I suggested someone be jailed for what they think.
That wasnāt me. And no they didnāt.
They did support jailing people just for making a free speech argument:
And any of you who say ābut we have to defend free speech even for the Nazisā are equally culpable and should join them in prison [ā¦]
If you donāt feel the same way thatās great.
Bitch slapped at the very least
As expected: liberals defending Nazis and then being surprised that they have Nazis
Like all Republican conservatives theyāre just sorry they got caught.
Fuck dinesh Dās cum bag
