    Also the bulk of them these days are some kind of scam. A lot of people worldwide have access to US citizens’ voter data. During the last election cycle, Democratic voters were beleaguered by a massive surge in spam messages claiming to be from the DNC, for a variety of scams including simple interception of funds.

    Now that our own government is selling our data directly to international interests, and consumer protection agencies are being defunded, it seems unlikely to get better. Responding to, clicking on, or donating to any text claiming to be from DNC affiliates is probably a mistake.

    The bigger mistake though is rewarding the DNC for their incompetence and corruption with your donation. Only AOC and Sanders’ group of progressives have demonstrated unwavering integrity and follow-through, so their donations should be made directly rather than through the DNC.
