      And it’s OK as long as it’s their king. If Biden had done any of this shit? We’d be knee-deep in a civil war right now.

        Knee deep in a civil war is where America should be right now, but it seems the media has done a good job of keeping people distracted and uninformed while the coup takes place. At best this is irreversible generational damage, and at worst the end of the American empire.

        Unfortunately no. I think all reps now use a webform to get messages.

        Hmm. I wonder, I could bust out the webscaping until and create a script to automate that. I just had an idea of how I can contribute to the effort by creating something to automate an email campaign to reps. Something that can be automated to send email on the daily without having to manually enter info to their webpage …

          You definitely could! It wouldn’t even be that hard, and you could even do it entirely headless with python.

          If you want to get sophisticated, you could use random emails and variation within the email (or use AI but that’s gross), which will stop them from filtering it.

            That’s an interesting idea. My thought was that people could use this individually to send emails daily on their behalf… Not for me to flood a rep with fake mails. ACLU frequently has campaigns where a letter is a template with an area to add additional text. I was thinking of something like that. Just so.ething to help people write to their reps, because those web page forms are a PIA

              Not a bad idea. If you could get the headless bit set up it would be a simple form and a simple SQL table, and you would be in business.

              I think the main challenge is the differences between representatives’ forms. Each one might be a little different, and will need some tweaks. There are a lot of representatives, and they might update their form.
